About Long Beach Premier Soccer League

Quick Game Details 

• The Winter season will be 8 weeks long
• Games are played on Turf fields
• Games are on Sundays (Between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM)
• Games are played with 6 players (1 goalie, 1 women minimum, 5 men maximum)
• 2x25 minute halves
• 6 games
• Unlimited substitutions 
• NO metal cleats allowed

Levels of Play Offered:

Division 1 - Advanced: Players demonstrate excellent ball control, precise passing, and advanced tactical awareness. Teams in this division execute strategic gameplay, leveraging positioning and technique to outplay their opponents. With a focus on quick decision-making and high-speed action, Division 1 offers a challenging yet thrilling environment for players seeking top-tier competition.

Division 2 - Intermediate: Ideal for players who have solid soccer fundamentals and are sharpening their skills. It's also a great choice for those who used to play soccer and are dusting off their cleats after some time away from the game. Players in this division have decent ball control and passing abilities but may still be working on consistency and tactical play. Division 2 strikes the perfect balance between competition and improvement, providing an engaging yet welcoming environment for intermediate-level players.

Division 3 - Beginner Friendly: Designed for players who are newer to the game or still developing their skills, Division 3 offers a supportive environment for learning and growth. Matches in this division are competitive yet accessible, allowing players to improve their abilities while enjoying the excitement of organized soccer and the social side of the game.
